		<description>I agree with you that Nick Evans has increased his value to the Mets as a 1B and OF, but think you nailed the point on their best use when you highlighted their platoon splits. The Mets HAVE overplayed Fernando Tatis and Cory Sullivan this year, it sucks, when Nick could have been hustling and showing off his skills at the Major League level... I think the best immediate solution, though, is to platoon them at 1B next year, get a top LF; one from the best free agent crop. Thole and Santos could make a good platoon, also, or another, more veteran righty catcher to take as many or fewer at bats than the next cornerstone addition. I think this team can be very home grown; and that Luis Castillo is perfect for Citi the next two years, so long as he is in shape... O and I think it is cool that most of our home grown players do better at home, they thrive on us fans, stick with them guys. They come to Atlanta soon and I get to support them, hope they come in and sweep!</description>
